Highlights from history: The building housing Tver Park Hotel was constructed in the winter of 1963-1964. That was also a hotel erected at a rapid pace to welcome the leader of the Republic of Cuba Fidel Castro and First Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee Nikita Khrushchev. Until the 1990s, Birch Grove Hotel was a member of the Kalinin Hotel Association. As time passed, the hotel fell into decay. However, after revamping was over, on July 29, 2003, the renovated country hotel swung open its doors again.
Currently Tver Park Hotel is a small (37 rooms), three-star private hotel. Tver Park Hotel was rated a three-star hotel in 2003.
